Los Angeles Rampage is returning 15 players from last year (approximately half of the roster). Amongst the returning players are team captains, Susie Mischenko (CSUN) and Tessa Troglia (CSULA). Also wearing the Rampage jersey in 2009 are 13 others from last year's roster, including Kristy Krohn (CSUN), Ana Coria (CSULA), Pamela Leyva (CPP), Marihelen Tomer (USC) and the highly anticipated return of Shanna Hudson (CSUN) who suffered a season ending injury when she broke her foot during last season's opening game @ Ajax.
Head Coach Emanuel Martins said, "it is exciting to have a foundation to build from". "We are definitely ahead of last year in terms of putting together a competitive roster". The staff is looking to rely on the leadership and experience of the players returning from a successful opening season.
