Buck Lally
Buck joins us from the Houston Texans Soccer Club in Houston, TX where he was a member of the professional men's staff for 5 years. The Houston Texans are recognized as one of the best full-service clubs in the region and consistently places 20-30 players in college every year. Buck holds a USSF 'B' License and a National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
During his time with the Houston Texans, Buck was an integral part of new player recruitment, coordinating camps, and training and coaching several teams. One of his teams, '87 -'88, earned 2nd place at Regionals in 2006. Nine players from the team went on to play collegiately.
Prior to the Houston Texans, Buck coached two years of collegiate soccer. From 2001 - 2002, he was the Assistant Women's Coach at Coker College (Division II), and from 2000 - 2001 he was the Assistant Women's Coach at McNeese State University (Division I). That year he helped the Cowgirls to the Semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament. While at McNeese State, Buck was a staff member with the Louisiana Olympic Development Program.
Buck played collegiately at Coker College (Harsville, SC) from 1996 - 2000, and was team captain his senior season. While at Coker, he coached the local high school, Hartsville High School, to three consecutive state quarterfinals.
Buck is originally from Gallup, New Mexico and grew up playing select soccer. Buck was a member of the '78 New Mexico ODP State Team from 1993 - 1995.
Tiffany Roberts
Roberts, a native of Phoenix, Arizona came to Classics Hammer FC during the Spring 2009 season. Tiffany played for the Sereno Soccer Club, which is ranked one of the top 15 clubs in the nation. Tiffany led her team to three state championships, a Region IV semifinals, quarterfinals, and finals. She served as a team captain throughout her club soccer career.
Roberts played high school soccer for Arcadia High School, where she was a three-time Arizona 4A Player of the Year. She was also named 2002 First Team All-Arizona, a three-time All Region honoree, and a two time All-State team member. While at Arcadia, she led her high school team to the 2001 4A State Championship and 2000 Regional Championship. Entering her senior season, which she didn't play, she had a career 67 goals and registered 56 assists. Tiffany was team captain her sophomore and junior year.
In 2003, Roberts was invited to play in the McDonalds All-America game and was named to the 2003 All-American Team. She was a member of the Arizona State Olympic Development Team form 1998 - 2002 and a Region IV team member in 2001 and 2002.
After high school, Tiffany attended Santa Clara University where she was a four-year starter and received her degree in Communications. She was captain her senior year and while there had the privilege of playing in four NCAA College Cup appearances. In 2004, Santa Clara reached the Final Four and lost to Notre Dame, the eventual NCAA College Cup National Champions.
During her freshman year, Roberts was named to the Soccer Buzz West Region All-Freshman Team and was an honorable mention All-West Coast Conference Honoree. As a sophomore, she was an honorable mention All-WCC selection and was named to both Soccer America's and Soccer Buzz's Elite Teams. As a junior, she was named to the All-WCC Second Team. Early in her senior year, she suffered a season-ending knee injury thus missing the rest of her senior year and losing a year of eligibility.
Tiffany currenlty holds a "D" license.
